For brokers

Client not at fault? Help them know their options before they claim.

Give clients an independent non-fault route alongside their policy, and stay part of their claim from start to finish.

When you refer a client

  • They’re told clearly we are independent
  • We check the claim is right for them first
  • You stay informed as it moves

Another way to claim for your clients

Your client tells their insurer about the accident, as their policy requires. They don’t have to make the claim through it.

Claim through their own policy

Their insurer handles the claim. A policy excess may apply until it’s recovered, and the claim can affect their no claims discount.

Claim directly from the at-fault insurer

They deal with the other driver’s insurer themselves. It can take longer and be more involved.

Refer to Motor Claims Department

An independent route for eligible non-fault clients. We arrange recovery, a replacement vehicle and repairs outside their policy, and pursue the at-fault insurer for the costs.

How a referral works

How a referral works

  1. Refer your client

Call us, send the link or use the referral form.

  2. We check suitability

Liability, what their policy already covers and whether they need a replacement vehicle. If the claim isn’t right for us, we say so.

  3. We explain everything first

Who we are, how credit hire works and what happens if fault is disputed, before they agree to anything.

  4. We manage the claim

Recovery, a like-for-like vehicle where appropriate and repairs, and we keep you updated as it moves.

Why brokers refer to us

Nothing to build in-house

A specialist non-fault claims option you can offer clients, without building accident management yourself.

Keep the relationship

You stay part of your client’s claim, with visibility on every referral.

Suitable referrals only

We check liability and need first, and say so when a claim isn’t right for us.

A clear complaints route

Complaints handled and escalated through a documented process.

Why this matters now

The Financial Ombudsman Service expects the options open to a customer after a non-fault accident to be explained fairly.

Offering clients an independent route, clearly explained, helps them make an informed choice and shows the advice they got was balanced.
